Here are this week’s top tips on everything sports and racing

It proved a good old fashioned fillup when the Wildcats won by 31 points against South East Melbourne last Friday night with our bet suggestions of the Wildcats to win by 5 points or more at $1.87, 10 or more at $2.50, 16 or more at $5.25, 20 or more at $8 and 28 or more at $21 all landing.

This weekend the Wildcats hit the road to take on the Brisbane Bullets on Friday night in Queensland before heading across to take on the New Zealand Breakers on Sunday.

It is never easy travelling in the NBL and history has shown that these sorts of road doubles often prove challenging for the travelling teams.

Accordingly I am going to steer clear of those games and I will opt for a multi with Melbourne United to defeat South East Melbourne Phoenix and the Sydney Kings to defeat the Adelaide 36ers. The multi price is $2.75.

The Perth Glory recorded their first victory of the season last week when they defeated the Wellington Phoenix 2-1 in New Zealand.

This week they return to their home deck and will play host to the Central Coast Mariners.

I expect the Glory to start to build some momentum over the next little patch and I will take them in a multi with Melbourne City and Melbourne Victory to both win. The multi price is $5.15.

I will take a multi which requires Liverpool, Brighton and Hove Albion and Chelsea to all win. The multi price is $3.71.

England were impressive in defeating the tournament favourites New Zealand in their  Semi Final last weekend and I think they will take some stopping against South Africa in the Final.

I will include them in a few of my multis this weekend at the price of $1.46.

My best bets of the weekend are as follows :

Flemington Saturday Race 1 Number 4 Zoutori  (TABtouch Fixed Odds Price $2.30) : Quality four year old who has won 5 of his 15 career starts and his performance last time out when finishing a close up third behind Sunlight in the Gilgai Stakes was outstanding. Quite simply if he can reproduce that run he will be awfully hard to beat.

Flemington Saturday Race 7 Number 1 Shadow Hero (TABtouch Fixed Odds Price $3.40) : Promising three year old who has been strong to the line when winning at his last two starts over 1800 metres and 2000 metres in the Gloaming and Champion Stakes. To my eye he has looked the most likely Derby winner in the buildup to this race and I am happy to back the strength of this fellow to carry him home to Derby glory.

Rosehill Saturday Race 8 Number 1 Pierata (TABtouch Fixed Odds Price $3.00) : Classy sprinter who blew them away in the Shorts over 1100 metres two starts ago before having no luck at all in the Everest last time out. Does possess a powerful finishing burst and looks very well placed in this event. I expect him to be charging home all over the top of them late

Ascot Saturday Race 4 Number 2 Baron Bostock (TABtouch Fixed Odds Price $2.80) : Broke through for a well-earned victory last time out here over 1200 metres when very strong to the line. Has always shown signs that there is a big engine under the bonnet and looks like he is starting to put it all together now. Can make it two on the trot.

Cannington Saturday Race 7 Number 2 Goblin Monelli (TABtouch Fixed Odds Price Not Available) : Had his first start over 600 metres last week and relished the step up in distance winning with plenty in store. Should go on with the job in this. Other nice bets look to be 3-3 Amazing Fun, 10-2 Willie Gundi each way and 11-3 Who’s Got Cash.
